Need an Amazing Disguise? Try a Spider-Man Costume!
When Halloween rolls around, youngsters everywhere get to dress up in the disguises of their choice and go trick or treating. Sometimes, even adults get to share in the fun. Many grown-ups celebrate Halloween with costume parties of their own, often awarding prizes for the best costumes. No matter if you're five or fifty, a Spider-Man costume can be the perfect disguise for the next costume party you attend.
The costumes out there range from single masks to realistic full-body suits for babies, toddlers, children and even adults. Most of the choices you'll find out there are the traditional red and blue full body suits complete with face masks with large white eyes rimmed in black. There are even some Spidey suits that make the wearer look muscular. For a modern look, try one of the newest black Spider-Man suits. Spider-Man is set to debut his black suit on film in 2007 when Spider-Man 3 comes out in theaters. You might think that only the boys can dress up like Spider-Man, but there are Spider Girl costumes out there as well!
Or, you could go as a Spider-Man villain! Popular villain costumes include the Green Goblin, Venom, Carnage and Doctor Octopus. Doctor Octopus is one of the newest villains having made his appearance in the latest Spider-Man movie. This villain was originally Peter Parker's idol named Otto Octavius. Octavius became Doctor Octopus after an experiment featuring mechanical arms went horribly awry. You could even throw a Spider-Man party and ask all your guests to come dressed as a different character. Sure, you might have more than one of each character at your party, but it's bound to be a lot of fun! You could even work in a movie showing during the party and decorate with fun spider theme accessories or even a theme menu.
If you're a parent throwing a cool Halloween party or even a birthday party, you'll find that in addition to a wide variety of Spider-Man costume selections there are tons of party favors as well. You can find paper plates, cups, whistles, horns, party hats and more bearing a cool Spider-Man theme for your little Spidey fan!

| Murder suspect's attorney asks judge for dismissal of one indictment An attorney for Thomas 'Spider' Sanders on Thursday asked a federal judge to dismiss one of the indictments that charged the Mississippi man with the murder of a 12-year-old Nevada girl, whose body was found in October 2010 in the woods of Catahoula Parish. Ansel 'Marty' Stroud III, one of Sanders' attorneys, told U.S. District Judge Dee Drell that the second, 'superceding' indictment in early 2011 had the contents of the first one but squeezed two felony charges instead of the one in the original indictment, which a Shreveport grand jury issued in late 2010. Stroud said the second indictment amounts to double jeopardy, with two charges that each could get Sanders the death penalty. 'You're giving the government two bites at the apple to come back with the death penalty,' Stroud said. Sanders sat quietly in the courtroom Thursday, sporting a full beard and quite a few more pounds than he had when he was arrested in November 2010. Prosecutors alleged Sanders killed Lexis Roberts' mother in Arizona in late summer 2010, then kidnapped Lexis, drove her to the rural Louisiana parish of Catahoula, shot her multiple times then slit her throat. Lexis' body lay in the woods about a month before hunters found her. Suellen Roberts, Lexis' mother, was found dead in Arizona after Sanders was arrested in Mississippi in November 2010. The three had taken a Labor Day trip from Nevada to Arizona. Sanders at first was indicted on a kidnapping charge that led to Lexis' death. The indictment also contained a forfeiture count that, if he was found guilty, called for Sanders to give up the gun allegedly used to kill her. The second indictment contained two charges -- kidnapping and using a firearm to kill Lexis. Stroud and other attorneys for Sanders also said the second indictment violated provisions of the Speedy Trial Act because it was handed down more than 30 days after Sanders was arrested. Drell did not rule on Sanders' requests Thursday. Drell has given Bill Flanagan and Nicole Snyder, assistant U.S. attorneys, until July 2 to decide whether the government would seek the death penalty... | ||
