Locating a Free Spider-Man Game

Many things are becoming costly nowadays so much so you may not find many free goodies. However, thanks to the Internet, you can find and play lots of free games. If you're a Spider-Man fan, you can locate lots of fun free Spider-Man game choices right on your computer. Spider-Man has certainly experienced a resurgence in popularity thanks to the blockbuster movie and its Academy Award winning sequel. Let's take a look at some of the various games you can find these days.

While it's unlikely that you'll find anything for free that's as good as the new PC and video game choices, there are a few Spidey theme games out there that cost nothing to play. One popular free choice is the Spider-Man Web of Words game. The object of the game is to spell words which advances Spider-Man to the tops of the buildings and helps him defeat the villain Doc Ock! Then there's Spider-Man City Raid. This game pits Spider-Man against a variety of obstacles to overcome. You get to shoot webs and jump from platform to platform. Both the game and graphics are quite simple, but not bad as far as free games are concerned. There are also various games such as Spider-Man theme Tetris that you can enjoy at no cost.

If you're willing to spend a little money, you should definitely check out the Spiderman: The Movie game as well as Spider-Man 2. These games are made for the PC, PlayStation, Game Cube and XBox, and are very popular. You get to climb buildings, stick to walls, jump from building to building, sling webs and much more. Fight bad guys like Venom, Carnage and Doc Ock, to name a few. You'll love the fantastic graphics and fun levels of gameplay. Even if you're not a Spider-Man fan, these games are lots of fun. It's quite likely that once the third Spider-Man movie comes out, there will be another great game released that's based on the film.
