Pass the Time with a Free Spider-Man Game Online

You may not believe it! If you're seeking for something fun to do in your past time, try playing the free Spider-Man online game. Spider-Man has been a very popular character for more than 30 years, however never more so than lately. This is probably due in part to the two blockbuster films starring Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man which reached a wide audience of all ages. There are great games you can buy for your PC or video game system, but there are also a few cool free ones also.

If you like word games, check out Spiderman 2: Web of Words. As you spell words, you get to watch Spidey climb buildings and battle the villain Doctor Octopus. If you take too much time when spelling a word, you get attacked by Doc Ock! There is a health meter that displays your life, and if it gets depleted Spider-Man falls and loses the game. At the end, you get to face off with Doc Ock in a fast-paced bonus round! There are even bonus challenges you can do to get even more points and make faster progress.

There are a variety of other Flash games that are easy and free to play, but you'll find they aren't as advanced as Web of Words. Some of them feature Spider-Man walking on platforms where the goal is to avoid obstacles and fight villains by shooting webs. These games are quite basic and while they can kill some time, they're nowhere near as fun as the games you can buy for your PC, XBox, Game Cube, or PlayStation.

In those games, you get to do all sorts of things like climb buildings, swing through the city, jump across rooftops, and do all sorts of awesome web slinging. The graphics on these games are said to be excellent, and even gamers who aren't Spidey fans can enjoy these games. You get to fight a variety of interesting villains which become more difficult as you progress through the levels. If you have the money to spend and want a really great game, you can't miss with either Spiderman: The Movie or Spiderman 2. If you're undecided on whether or not you want to buy a game, check out the free Spiderman game online while you're thinking about it!
